    Deere-Wilman House Moline

    The Deere-Wilman House was built in 1872 by Charles Deere, son of the famous farm equipment producer, John Deere. Located on top of a hill, this mansion overlooks Moline. Visitors enjoy exploring the stunning mansion and the seven acres of gardens surrounding the Deere-Wilman House. The home is usually open for viewing daily, depending on the private events schedule. Guided tours are arranged by appointment.

    Butterworth Center Moline

    The Butterworth Center was built in 1892 by Charles Deere, son of the famous John Deere of farm equipment. The home was built as a gift for his daughter upon her wedding to William Butterworth. The stately home is surrounded by gardens and is an architectural jewel. Scheduled summer tours are given on Sundays in July and August at 1pm, 2pm 3pm and 4pm. The center is open for self-guided tours from 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
